Нужно 4 билета из дели до гоа на 31 января или 1 февраля. Стоит 8 RAC, индусы в билетных агентствах в варкале говорят что шансов мало. Может они чего-то не знают?

Прочитал в другой ветке про RAC

"Это почти вейт-лист. Я уже где-то писала - по этому статусу вы точно уедете на поезде, но в худшем случае - у вас будет пол-места. То есть место с кем-то придется делить. Но обычно билеты с этим статусом подтверждаются, они, если по очереди брать, идут до вейт-листа."

Но индусы утверждают что шансов немного

Какой класс вагона? Индусы могут утверждать, что мало шансов на то, что у вас будет полноценный билет, и это может быть правдой, но то, что вы можете по билету RAC уехать этим поездом - это точно, только у вас не будет у каждого полного места, а будет только сидячее боковое (но если вы вдвоем со знакомым едете по билетам RAC, всегда можно спать по очереди или улечься на полке вдвоем, если габариты позволяют).

Однако билетов RAC не очень много обычно, так что если будете брать 4 билета, у некоторых может выскочить уже и вейт-лист.

Если хотите, киньте мне в личку данные поезда и класс вагона, я посмотрю, какие там квоты и какая приблизительно вероятность (хотя результат не гарантирую, ясно дело :))

Скажите пожалуйста, по золотому треугольнику чтобы покататься - нужно бронировать билеты, или там сообщение хорошее, и можно разобраться на месте?

Мы там не были ни разу, и хочется иметь "свободный график" - перемещаться не планируя заранее когда - а на месте разобравшись - когда захочется

Вам больше автобусы тогда подойдут. Или можно попытаться купить билеты на поезд по туристической квоте непосредственно на вокзале.

Important Instructions

Train Numbers are changed w.e.f 20-12-2010 from 4 to 5 digits.

One of the passenger booked on an E-ticket is required to present any of the identity cards noted below in original during the train journey and same will be accepted as a proof of identity failing which all the passengers will be treated as travelling without ticket and shall be dealt as per extant Railway Rules. The accommodation booked is not transferable and is valid only if one of the ID card noted above is presented during the journey. The passenger should carry with him the Electronic Reservation Slip print out. In case the passenger does not carry the electronic reservation slip, a charge of Rs.50/- per ticket shall be recovered by the ticket checking staff and an excess fare ticket will be issued in lieu of that.

E-ticket cancellations are permitted before preparation of chart. In case e-ticket is booked through an agent, please contact respective agent for cancellations.

E-ticket passenger is permitted in the train against a berth/seat only when his name appears in the reservation chart failing which he can be treated as a passenger travelling without ticket

E-ticket cannot be cancelled after chart preparation through internet. After Chart preparation, refund will be processed through TDR refund process as per Indian Railways Refund rules. Submission of Guard certificate in original to IRCTC is also required for refund claim on account of A.C. failure/Coach not attached/Accommodation offered in lower class in addition to filing of TDR . Guard certificate can be obtained from TTE / Conductor of the coach.

If train is cancelled, E-ticket can be cancelled through internet by the user upto 3 days from the date of departure of the train.

Bank charges, if any, will be payable extra.

The compartment/cabin/coupe numbers for first ACC and first class will be allotted at the time of chart preparation.

For Train No. 2901 / 2902 (Gujarat Mail), Coach No. S2 to S6 will be attached / detached at Dadar

In case of I AC booking, Coach / Seat No. will be given at the time of charting.

The customer who has opted for auto-up gradation during booking of his/her e-ticket is requested to check the up-gradation chart before boarding the train.

С этим нет, а с электронным билетом, который Вам прислали и на котором всё это нормально написано, а не в мусорной куче- да. Распечатываете на А4 и вперёд.

а еще. Trip ID надо написать на обратной стороне билета?

clear trip написал, что эл. билет действителен при посадке только с наличием Trip ID. или я не правильно понял?
